The benefits of taking private voice lessons...
Students decide to begin vocal training for all kinds of
reasons. Some are preparing for a performance and want a
bit of extra direction on specific pieces of music. Others have
decided to make a career out of singing and require the
consistent support of a voice teacher. Still for some, it is the
simple love of singing that draws them to embark on formal
training. Whatever the reason, the ability to use one's voice
to create music is truly a priceless asset. One on one
teacher/student direction allows for tailored instruction based
on individual needs. Private voice lessons at Elizabeth's
studio are designed to teach students proper technique and
appropriate stage presence in a warm and welcoming
environment. She is currently accepting promising new

Improve posture, breath, articulation, vowel formation, tone
production, range, vocal placement, pitch, and diction
Learn to overcome stage fright (and use adrenalin to their
advantage!)
Treat the voice healthfully to ensure a long life of singing
Refine pronunciation of foreign languages including French,
Italian, German, and Spanish
Be able to sing a large and versatile repertoire of music
Gain the ability to sight read music at increasing levels of
difficulty
Nurture a respect for their voice and abilities
